This tour will provide the historical backdrop for their unlikely victory, as we visit some of the sites in which the fortunes of Henry Tudor – later Henry VII – rose and fell. It will be complimented by two talks from Dr Nicola Tallis, whose book, Uncrowned Queen, charts this thrilling tale.

This tour looks at the early life of William of Normandy and the subsequent invasion of England in 1066 and his rule as the first Norman king of England until his death in 1087. This wonderful tour visits key locations associated with his life including Chateau de Falaise where William was born in 1026.
